Museum images, archival scans, quotations, trademarks and linked resources remain subject to the source institution’s or rights holder’s terms. Their appearance or citation does not transfer ownership to this site.
Rights requests
A notice should identify the protected work, the page and material concerned, the requester’s relationship to the rights, contact details and the requested action. Good-faith concerns will be investigated and material may be temporarily restricted while ownership or permission is checked.
